Abuja - John Dara is a politician in a distinct class. He is not only at home with the political trend, he is articulate and urbane. During the Third Republic, he served in Sir Micheal Otedola" administration in Lagos State; though he hails from Kwara. The former Director General of Professor Jerry Gana Presidential campaign organisation has his eyes set on becoming the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

IN his interview with Chuks Ohuegbe, he spoke on sundries issues, insisting however, that he has the best credentials and administrative know-how to be the anchor-man of the party's engine room.

Conspicuously missing from the Top 10 eligible Nigerians for Aso Rock, drawn from the opinion poll conducted by credible bodies like Silverbird Group, Vanguard Media Limited and DAAR Communications, is Prof. Jerry Gana, John Dara, Director General, Solidarity Team for Excellence and Progress, STEP, Prof. Jerry Gana’s Campaign organization has declared that he does not to have faith in the polls .
